The walking programme is run by Glynnis and Carol. It's been a wonderful morning out for everyone who's joined in.
Booking not essential but ideal in case of last minute changes to plan. Please contact Carol (details in members section) to be put on the mailing list.
Please see below a note from Carol with details of walks for 2018 ...
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone again for walks, chats and coffee.
I've made some plans for walks, including a repeat of the one towards
Mathon which we all enjoyed, plus the one-way walk to Ledbury that I'm
keen to do. This one will involve some car shuffling, but well worth it I
think.
I won't be able to join you on the March and April dates and have left
these blank for the time being. I'm hoping for volunteers, or I'm happy
to suggest walks.
23rd January. Meet at Earnslaw Quarry car park. To North Hill and back via St. Anne's Well and Green Valley. 5 miles. Hilly.
27th February. Meet at Colwall Railway Station. To British Camp and back
via Black Hill and Evendine. 6 miles. Hilly, a few stiles.
27th March. To be decided.
24th April. To be decided.
22nd May. Meet at West of England car park. Towards Mathon and back in foothills of Malvern Hills. 6 miles. Hilly, a few stiles.
26th June. Meet at British Camp car park. To Ledbury via Eastnor. 6.5 miles. Hilly, including steep downhills. Some stiles.
Let's stick with the 9.30am start time. This seems to suit everyone and it means we are back in time for lunch.
Please can I have your mobile telephone numbers in case of a last minute
change of plan. I already have some (Glynnis, Fiona, Philippa, Kate,
Linda, Anne S, Dee J). Many thanks.
We had some lovely walks in good weather weather last year. Here's hoping for more...
Look forward to seeing you on the 23rd January.
Best wishes
Carol

Walking in sunshine ...
We have had a lovely walk today (25th April). Eight of us from the Wyche Cutting to North Hill and back with a cafe stop at the Sugar Loaf Cafe in West Malvern. It was a good 5 miles with plenty of ups and downs and fabulous clear views in the sunshine.
